Final Fantasy 7 : Dirge of Cerberus
Publisher: Square-Enix
So, after playing through the game once. Story, I’ll still give it a “Wha? Oh, I guess that makes sense,” but most of it made sense at the end. The game had it’s points. Visually, it was pretty. Then again, I’d expect nothing else from SE.. Sound/Music, Sounds and background music wasn’t bad, but I nothing really catching either. I just tuned them out after a couple minutes most of the time. The voices are the same from the US Advent Children (I assume.. I only saw it in Japanese), and I think they were pretty well chosen.. Except I swear for 15 minutes there I was watching Toonami. Controls were pretty intuitive, took me a couple minutes to figure out what did what, but once I figured out, all went well. Except I suck and used all my potions… a lot. Gameplay.. parts were annoying, but not as challenging as it was.. where the f is that sniper? why the hell is my tv so dark? GARHFGGJ!! Oh, there he is, *click* yay, he’s dead. But overall, it’s a good game. I know fanboys will be annoyied by it. Especially Cloud fanboys.. since there’s not much of him, or for that matter most of the FF7 cast. But if you don’t mind going and learning about some of Vincent’s past, go, rent it, beat it in a day or two. If you’re hardcore about the extras maybe buy it?
