Soooooooooooooooooooo, I’ve been having a dandy adventure lately. Not really much in the ways of WoW or XI, but fun nonetheless.
Friend of mine shot me a link for Voyage Century, which is a sailing MMO that’s quite.. entertaining, nothing fantastic though. Had been playing that with four of my RL buddies. That has seemingly fallen apart though, as one of them is playing WoW again, the other on vacation, and yet one more obsessed with it and little time to play. So, I’ll dink around on it for another week or so, and probably call it quits for that.
Also have been starting up the old Steam and firing up Counter-Strike: Source with KC. I 107% suck at it now, haven’t really played that many FPS games since.. well.. I think I played some UT in November? Been having fun with it though and will probably play it until the middle of August, when…
I finally move the fuck out. I’m pushing hard for this one, need one more person for the lease and we’re set to move to a house up in the AK-Rowdy. I can’t say much now, but that house will be fuckin’ blast-tastic. And I’ll finally get my damn 360 back from Señor KC, and just in time for Halo 3..?
There’s the part I forgot to mention of me loving up DOA4 this week too. I’m getting good with Hayate strangely enough. Use to be a Ayane fan.. but I can’t say I’m good with her anymore. Maybe the boobs were just distracting me? Yea, probably.

I’ll probably be back to WoW sometime in July, just haven’t been feelin’ it lately. Summer hits me and I just can’t help hanging out with my friends. And XI? I really have just been chatting on there. What I wanna do is go visit Kinyo… We’ll see when that happens.
So, that’s the past 2 weeks-ish. Aside from some movies I went to see.. F4:2 – no, Mr Brooks – yes.
And all I can say I’ve done is played FFXI; managing to get my bard to nearly 60! (Hopefully will be before I pass out tonight..)
Anyhow, not much else I wanna say right now.. I’m tired, I have screen shots I should edit and upload, but not tonight! I will, however, post my list of items I need to obtain while leveling bard.

Today I pretty much felt like doing something tedious and boring. But in order to do that, I had to level WAR to 71. Needless to say, I did just that, twice. But nevertheless, I was able to start said activity, which ended up rendering this:
So, much thanks to Berrie, Derian, Caita, Auronku and Perroevil for the help. Now I’m going to go pass out and sleep for awhile!!
So, most of my hosting issues are smoothed out; well, most, I still have a couple. But besides that, the past week has been somewhat interesting!
First off, Derian poked me quite a bit on Thanksgiving to get around to doing something. What was that something? Windurst 9-2. Well, since I had been needing to actually finish getting Rank 10, I agreed and we proceeded to find people to go. We pulled together 5 people who needed the mission, and Caita gladly helped us with our plight. But one of the members was still on 9-1, which seriously took too long. Sadly, a few hours after we planned to have start, we were all on the 9-2 mission, got the verses and were all ready for the BC! Now the BC… Is stupidly easy. Our setup for this was as follows: 75NIN, 75THF, 75WHM, 75WHM, 75BLM, 75 SAM. For the first part of the BC we just slept the Cardians and killed them in order of PLD > RDM > BLM > WHM. (Or I believe that was the order; it does not matter since they were ridiculously easy.) We held the WHM alive for a bit for our WHMs to heal up, but they did not need long and we were ready to move on! So, the next part, we let the NPC decide which to fight, and he chose the manticore, which gave Derian the wyvern to kite/tank. We made short work of both of them, and watched a rather nifty cut scene. Then we took a brisk walk through Sarutabaruta and arrived in Windurst; quickly making our way to Heaven’s Tower to get the last cut scenes, and our coveted rank up. A few minutes later, I was awarded with Rank 10, 100,000 gil and a Windurstian Flag.

A few days later, Berrie, Caita, Vagus and I decided we would go spelunking in Phomiuna Aqueducts and maybe, just maybe end up with some panties? Well, needless to say, fun times were had by all and we had a very good night that night. Plus I walked away with two new fashionable pieces of armor.
Very happy to get both of them, since they’re both going to my new jobs in which I’ve decided to take a liking. Hopefully I’ll be able to wear them soon, since BRD has kind of been slow leveling for me lately. I managed to go from 13 to 30 in two days, but then nearly a week lately I’ve only managed a measly 34… But I can’t blame anyone, Auronku has been working on his final projects, Grim’s been working, Caita’s been working and learning, and I’ve been lazy. Well, not lazy, more like allocating my time into non-productive things, like my DS or my Wii.
Which I’ll say it now, Twilight Princess is amazing. Beautiful graphics, and the music takes me back to some of the older Zelda games. But as for any Zelda game lately, the first 2-3 hours of it drive me insane with the constant “HAAY L1NK! HEEARZ UR 5W()R|)!! ZMOG U N33D 2 LRN HOW 2 YOOS EET!” Yep, I really hate the first couple hours… All in all, I’m having fun, I need to play it more, I really want to do so too.
But back to XI! I broke up my WAR the other day also, and leveled with Berrie and Vagus again. Fun times were had by all, or at least me; I can’t read minds yet.
We ended up camping in Caedarva Mire @ G-10 through the Dvucca Isle Staging Point, near the entrance to Alzadeel Undersea Ruins. As you can tell we fought fomor, and they actually were very easy. They fell pretty fast, and gave decent experience. (200+ on chain 5s at Lv68) They use the same TP moves as any of the fomor from CoP areas, so you don’t have to expect anything crazy. But they do aggro to job abilities and weapon skills, which did cause us quite a few links, but they were easily disposed.
And through all the panic and mayhem of said party…
Finally, I got off my lazy ass and skilled up my great axe! It’s not completely capped, but I did manage to hit these fomor without much trouble. (about 30-40acc + sushi) With the exception of when I had accuracy down from one of the TP moves, but that can be erased so it’s not a big deal.
After that party, we took another adventure into the Aqueducts again, this time it was for Caita’s mission. The minotaur was a piece of cake, so easy that I think Berrie and Caita had fallen asleep…
Also, I did some more of ToAU story too! I’m just working on finishing up the latest patch’s story before the next one hits us in a couple weeks. But, from what I’ve gotten so far, the storyline keeps drawing me into it. I’m curious to find out where SE does next.
Also, Aphmau is cute.
After a few years of being homesick, and since Caita was thinking about doing it already. I decided to move myself back to the republic.
It feels good to be back in the cold, dingy Bastok… Somehow, I missed it. Maybe it was the snooty San d’Orians that made me want to come home, or the cheery-weery Tarutarus that drove me insane. I don’t know, but it sure does feel nice to be Bastokan once more.
And finally, in my never ending quest to help Caita with CoP, we ventured into Riverne Site – #A01. We knew we had to get two Giant Scales to be able to make it to the BC area, so we tried farming on a few different occasions, and we realized that these wyvern are stingy!
They were practically throwing some body parts at us, except the aforementioned parts. A few hours later would render us with two scales though, and a one way ticket to the BC!
So, after poking around my friends list, I pulled Zim back into the world of Vana’diel to help us with our plight. Making our setup: NIN/WAR, NIN/WAR, NIN/WAR, WHM/BLM, WHM/BLM, WHM/BLM. Yep, 3NIN, 3WHM. Supposedly one of the best setups there was for this fight. And we were pretty confident as we used our Samberrie Fisher skills to make it to the BC, where we decided on our strategy; Berrie and I would kite two of the Mammets, with Martigan and Caita healing us, while Vagus and Zim would fight the third.
Things pretty much went as planned, except I swear mine was BLM two-thirds of the time and kept spamming -ga magic, which kept kitting Berrie. Maybe I just suck at kiting, who knows? Anyhow, Vagus killed his off eventually, and I brought mine. We killed that one easily, and then we all assaulted Berrie’s poor Mammet; giving us the win! We all then quickly dispersed, and went our separate ways, planning for Diabolos… Congratulation Caita!

So, aside from the adventure I had, this week has been pretty slow.
Monday:
After our fiasco in GC, I suggested that we go skill up and get her Black Halo, and me some dagger and sword skill. We went out to the tree, and beat on crabs for a few hours. I managed to cap my dagger, and then became a ninja using swords. Few hours later went to bed.
Tuesday:
Decided to finish getting Caita’s club skill for Halo before she went to sky. I worked on my Dagger of Trials some, got about 20 some points before she had to go.. So I went out to Kuftal Tunnel and soloed crabs for four hours. Talked to Auronku and Grim about a party after Caita was done with sky, which was cool because that meant BRD power level. And those are just yummy. So, Caita surprised me in the tunnel and we were about to start working on the last few points off, when suddenly I realized a crab…broke my..knife. Happy with that, we left the tunnel and geared up for our party. My job of choice: RNG. It had been sitting at 25 for well over a year, since I first left the game actually, right before the nerf. I turned in my knife to Jakoh Wahcondalo, and she told me to find the Annals of Truth. Then we went to party. Three hours later, and a lot of jokes about Darkblaze, we all went to bed with our new Lv28 jobs.
Wednesday:
Coejus, Caita and I went to skill up in Kuftal. I was on WAR trying to get some Great Axe skill. Caita managed to break her Club of Trials after a few hours, while Coejus flirted with Anarya, a recently married kitty. We then went to recruit people for the NM fights, which both went very smoothly. Rushing to Kazham again:
Yay, I can now back alley murder someone! So I did just that, to some Lesser Colibri. And then went to party on my WAR. Which was fun, I still love warrior. Got it to 67 that night with Berrie, Vagus and MM.
Thursday:
Partied with Fayeslove (34PLD) and Caita (33THF) with my samurai. We all got two levels before I had to go to work. Work was fun, picked up DOA:Xtreme2. Very beautiful game. Came home, went to bed. Woke up because friend wanted to watch MTV. Ended up meriting with Berrie for a bit after Caita went to bed. Got two points closer to finally finishing off Critical Rate. Soon I’ll be able to do that, and start on my dagger.
Friday:
Worked until evening, and then came home and proceeded to do have a debate on Ventrilo about Xbox360 vs PS3, and talk to Caita. Ended up partying with Auronku and Grim again. So Caita and I got on WAR and RNG again, we trotted out to Rolanberry Fields and fought the Evil Weapons. I ended up being half asleep the whole party, but a couple hours later again, we all went to bed 2 levels higher, and me with Barrage.
And that’s all that’s happened so far this week. Kinda slow, but fun nonetheless.
